This activity can be used to practise basic conversational French once pupils have learned how to ask and answer questions. It could also be used for revision purposes. It covers topics such as name, age, where you live, siblings, hobbies, hair colour, eye colour, birthdays and favourite colours. Pupils take it in turns to ask and answer each other 10 different questions and record the responses on their sheets, in either French or English. There is also a help sheet to go with the activity if necessary.

This is a card game to help pupils learn vocabulary for weather terms in French. It could be used as a pairs/pelmanism game, snap game or simple matching game. Cards have reverse side (which says “Quel temps fait-il?”) so can be printed double sided to prevent any cheating!! You need to change printer settings to “Flip on short side” as it is a landscape document. Resource comes as Word document which can be edited and as a PDF which is ready to print.
